Taveuni Vacation Rentals

TAVEUNI is Fiji's third largest island and found in the friendly northern region. It is a delightful tropical island with verdant rainforested highlands sloping down to the picturesque coastline and pristine ocean. There are a number of resorts and hotels but the island is certainly not commercialised. A number of past visitors decided to buy property on the island to build themselves a vacation home. These owners do not always live year round on the island so offer their homes to guests looking for a vacation rental.

Another kind of rental accommodation to be found are small holdings, where an owner does live on the island but has built a small number of guest bures or cottages. Sometimes there is just one cottage, sometimes 2 or 3. This kind of accommodation is equally suitable for those looking for a quiet location and resort alternative.
